Machine learning for the systems Gambia runs on.
I'm an ML and deep learning engineer building forecasting, credit and civic tools for energy, finance and public services.
Illustrative daily load curve. This is the kind of forecasting problem I work on with PyTorch LSTMs, not real station data.
Work
Independent projects, each built around a real local problem.
Where I'm focused
Energy forecasting
Deep learning for power demand and load, drawing on my electrical engineering studies.
Credit and financial inclusion
Scoring and loan decision models that lenders can explain and defend.
Civic and legal access
Retrieval-based assistants that answer people's questions about their rights and public services.
About
I'm based in The Gambia and studying electrical engineering at university. I build AI applications on my own, from the model to the deployed app.
I've trained more than 20 PyTorch image models, and my day-to-day stack is Python, PyTorch, Streamlit, the Gemini API, Supabase and ChromaDB. I was the top student in both junior and senior school, and I still enjoy teaching: I've tutored friends in physics, mathematics, chemistry and IT.
Contact
Open to collaborations, internships and projects that need ML built and shipped.
